Refurbishment at the UK's oldest Holiday Inn !

Leicester's Holiday Inn hotel has been transformed after a multi million pound refurbishment project.
The work on the hotel, which is the oldest Holiday Inn in the UK, was started last year, and has recently been completed.
The St Nicholas Circle hotel has undergone huge changes, with all of the all of the 194 bedrooms, meeting spaces, lobby, bar and restaurant refurbished to a high standard.
The ground floor has been transformed into an lighter, open space allowing guests to eat, drink, meet, socialise, work, relax and have fun.
Those using the meeting spaces for conferences can now make use of a new refreshment room, which they can drop in and out of all day long. It features ‘bean to cup’ coffee machines, fully stocked fridges and healthy snacks.
The bedrooms are a mix of standard, executive, accessible rooms and family rooms - all with modern furnishings, high speed internet access and flat screen TVs.
Meeting rooms cater for up to 250 delegates and events of up to 300 people.
Most recently, work has been carried out to the exterior of the building, including removing old air conditioning boxes, and re-painting the outside of the hotel, so it looks as fresh and inviting as the inside.
Following the work, a 360-degree virtual tour has been created of the hotel, by Leicester company Mi360.
The tour - which can be viewed here - aims to transport potential customers, both business and leisure guests, directly into the Holiday Inn's bedrooms, meeting and conference spaces and the bar and restaurant, showcasing its full refurbishment.
Holiday Inn Leicester is the oldest Holiday Inn in the UK, and was opened in September 1971. It has had refurbishments over the years, but this latest refurbishment is the biggest to date.
Holiday Inn Leicester is at 129 St Nicholas Circle.
