Bristol's Night of the Star Awards

Aztec Hotel & Spa, Bristol, is delighted to announce it has made the finals of Bristol’s Night of the Stars awards in not one but two categories.

Social Media Co-ordinator Esther Green is shortlisted in the Heart of House category in recognition of the work she has done to build links between the hotel and community.

She is very active in encouraging fundraising and supporting local good causes, including setting up a partnership with Jigsaw that helps children with additional needs in the area and organising two nights where the hotel has fed the homeless community in Bristol city centre.

Maintenance Assistant Christopher Martin is through to the final of the Unsung Hero category, after he impressed judges with his ‘go further attitude’.
Christopher is proactive in helping people wherever he can, however he can – and always with a smile on his face.

General Manager, Gareth Ireland, said: “We’re so proud to have Esther and Christopher in the finals of these awards. They have got a fantastic approach to their work and nothing is ever too much trouble.

“We have an extra-ordinary team working at Aztec Hotel & Spa and we constantly receive fantastic feedback about how welcoming and helpful they are. It’s great that two of them have been recognised by our industry peers in these awards – Esther and Christopher really are great role models.”

The Night of the Stars Awards are organised by The Bristol Hoteliers association to recognise and celebrate outstanding performance and talent of people working in the hospitality industry.

The winners will be announced on January 25.
