DoubleTree by Hilton, Sheffield Park, Hotel welcomes diners to brand new Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill!

On 20th June, the DoubleTree by Hilton, Sheffield Park Hotel celebrated the opening of its brand-new Steakhouse Bar & Grill restaurant. Created by legendary chef Marco Pierre White, the culinary destination is set to become one of the city’s most exciting dining experiences.

Set against the backdrop of Marco Pierre White’s unique monochromatic styling, the sumptuous surroundings are matched by the menus which are devised by arguably the UK’s greatest chef. Inspired by his Yorkshire heritage, the menu is based on wholesome, delicious dishes with an innovative twist and includes a mix of childhood favourites and modern-day delicacies which uses the freshest ingredients.

Bringing to life Marco’s own philosophy of what he describes as ‘affordable glamour’ this exciting and bright dining experience includes signature steaks, timeless English and French classics.

The core values of the Steakhouse revolves around classic dishes that are simply cooked and served in an aspiring yet glamourous environment. Steak is at the heart of the menu, but the choice caters for all tastes and budgets.

Guests dining at the restaurant can look forward to starters including Mr White’s Scotch Egg with Colonel Mustard Sauce (£7.50), Classic 1970’s Prawn Cocktail (£9.95) and Potted Duck with Green Peppercorns (£8.50) followed by the delicious steak main courses. Choose from finest quality steaks such as Grilled Centre Cut Fillet (£30.95) or a Roast Chateaubriand for Two (16oz £58.00) all accompanied by tempting sides with a selection of sauces available.

If steak isn’t your thing, there are lots of other dishes to tantalise the taste-buds including the renowned Steakhouse Burgers (from £14.50) as well as The Governor’s Fried Haddock and Triple Cooked Chips (£16.95), Classic Chicken Kiev (£15.50) and Honey Roasted Bacon Chop (£14.50) to name but a few.

A selection of vegetarian dishes including Creamy Polenta with Wild Mushrooms (£13.95 and Marco’s Baked Macaroni Cheese with Poached Hen’s Egg (£13.50) are also on offer followed by a selection of desserts priced from £6.25. Why not try Mr White’s Billionaire’s Shortbread Rich Caramel and Gold Leaf (£7.25) or treat yourself to Mr Coulson’s Sticky Toffee Pudding, Caramel Ice Cream and Butterscotch Sauce (V) (£6.75).
