The Aztec Hotel and Spa, Bristol has just completed a major make-over of all the hotels ground floor, reception and bar area including guest room corridors at a total cost of £1.5m.
The hotel has been setting the standards for the north Bristol market since opening in 1990 and has a 25 year track record under Shire Hotels ownership and operation – something that is increasingly rare in today’s fluid hotel industry.
The new-look brings a light contemporary feel to the entrance and lobby, yet sits perfectly with the fabulous old timber beams and real fires which have been a trademark of the hotel and a feature that guests love.

The bar is open from early til late each day serving food and drinks, including a fabulous selection of craft ales from parent company Daniel Thwaites’ Craft Dan Brewery.
