Catherine Allen has become the face of the breakfast service at Cottons Hotel & Spa and won the Customer Service Superstar award at the North West Employee Engagement Awards last week.
Her cheery nature and amazing ability to remember not just people’s names but also their previous orders helps guests feel special. Every guest passing the restaurant receives a ‘good morning’ whether they are dining or not and we know how much her friendly, professional approach is valued as she is regularly mentioned in guest comment cards for being exceptional.
Under her leadership, we received a 100% score for breakfast service in an AA audit last year – and Catherine even received a wedding invitation from one guest! We want to clone her, which is why she delivers breakfast service training to the food and drink team and we got her input when we created our new lunch standards in our conference café.
